New Courses


Advanced Career Training 


AFAA Group Fitness Instructor

This online course will prepare students to become a certified group fitness instructor. Earning this credential from the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) verifies expertise and the ability to safely lead group fitness classes. 



NASM Certified Personal Trainer + AFAA Group Fitness Instructor (Voucher Included)

This course bundle will prepare students for two of the most in-demand certifications in the fitness industry: NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer and AFAA Group Fitness Instructor. They will gain key skills from videos, presentations, and other hands-on learning activities to master health and fitness topics.

Upon course completion, students will receive two prepaid vouchers for the following exams:

  • AFAA-CGFI (Group Fitness Instructor)
  • NASM-CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) 



NASM Certified Nutrition Coach (Exam Included)

This NASM certification course will teach students how to incorporate nutrition coaching and behavior change into their fitness instruction. When a student completes the course, they will be designated as a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach. This industry recognized certification demonstrates understanding of nutritional science and behavior change strategies.


How are these titles different from the existing NASM titles?

These NASM titles focus on speciality areas (group fitness, nutrition), outside of NASM’s core offering, the NASM-CPT credential.

How valuable are certifications for fitness professionals?

NASM certification remains the industry benchmark for fitness professionals.

Are the AFAA and NASM different organizations?

No, NASM acquired AFAA in 2015. However, AFAA and NASM were both founded with similar missions and have worked to create a standard of excellent in the person training and fitness industry. Together, the organizations have over 65 years of combined industry experience.

Who should take these courses?

These courses are ideal for fitness professionals looking to specialize or expand their current training knowledge.

Should I add these course to the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL)?

If you have our other NASM titles listed on the ETPL, we recommend adding these as well.

When should I add this title to the ETPL?

If you plan to add this title, you should apply for approval immediately. If you need more information on the ETPL submission process, please contact your account manager.


Introduction to Law Suite

This suite of online courses will help students find an area of law that best suits them. They will explore different specialties and gain a greater understanding of the legal field.

Suite includes:

  • Real Estate Law (rel)
  • Employment Law Fundamentals (elp)
  • Introduction to Criminal Law (icl)



What you need to do:

If you’ve elected to auto-add new titles to your catalog, then no further action is required. Otherwise, you will need to add them manually in the online administration center. If you’re not sure if you have the auto-add feature set up, contact your Account Manager.
