Product Launch: Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt Certification

ed2go prides itself on offering innovative, relevant courses. We are pleased to announce that a new Six Sigma course offering is now available in the catalog:

ADVANCED CAREER TRAINING

Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt (Exam Cost Included)

Six Sigma is a data-driven approach to improving organizational processes. Quality improvement projects are often led by Six Sigma Green Belts and implemented by Six Sigma Yellow Belts. These certifications – accredited by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) – verify one’s knowledge of Six Sigma methodology. Each level of certification brings greater individual responsibility and contribution to process improvement projects.
This course bundle will train students to become a Yellow Belt and Green Belt, the first two levels of Six Sigma certification. Primarily, students will learn methodology from the Six Sigma Belt Body of Knowledge (BoK). They will also prepare for the certification exams with industry-specific examples, interactive activities, case-studies, and test questions.
Upon course completion, students will be prepared to sit for ASQ’s Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt certification exams. Exam cost is included in the overall course cost, so students will also receive prepaid vouchers for both exams when they successfully complete the course material.
COURSE CODE: GES2032 | SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE: $2,999

How is this new title different than the other Six Sigma titles in the catalog?

The new Six Sigma course bundle combines Six Sigma Yellow Belt (GES2007) and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (Exam Cost Included) (GES287). By bundling Yellow and Green Belt, students preparing for both certification exams will now have a succinct learning experience.

Why were these courses bundled?

We bundled these courses to streamline training for early to mid-career professionals seeking certification. Prior to this release, the catalog only had a Six Sigma Green and Black Belt bundle geared toward middle to mid-senior level professionals, as well as the individual Six Sigma courses.

Who should take this course?

Team members working on process improvement projects would benefit from this course. Earning both certifications creates a clear path to eventually becoming a project leader.

Should I add this course to the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL)?

If you have the Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt courses on the ETPL individually, we recommend adding this option on there to provide another option.

When should I add these titles to the ETPL?

If you plan to add these titles, you should apply for approval immediately. If you need more information on the ETPL submission process, please contact your account manager.

WHAT DO PARTNERS NEED TO DO?

If you’ve elected to auto-add new titles to your catalog, then no further action is required. Otherwise, you will need to add them manually in the online administration center. If you’re not sure if you have the auto-add feature set up, contact your Account Manager.
