ADVANCED CAREER TRAINING
The following courses will be retired and removed from the catalog effective immediately:
- SSCP Systems Security Certified Practitioner (Voucher Included) (GES333)
Why is this course being retired?
In our commitment to protecting our student’s Personally Identifiable Information (PII), we will no longer offer a voucher for the SSCP exam. In turn, we will retire the “voucher included” version of the SSCP course and advise students to take the non-voucher version.
Will this course be replaced?
We currently offer SSCP Systems Security Certified Practitioner (GES322), which uses the same course content but does not include a voucher. Students in the non-voucher version will be equally prepared for the exam, but must go through the exam registration process on their own.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish their course with no changes to their course access. Pending students will be directed to the non-voucher course.
The following course will be revised effective immediately:
- Information Security Master Training (Vouchers Included) (GES359)
What changes are being made to this course?
We are no longer offering a voucher for the Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) exam. The other two exam voucher in this bundle will remain unchanged.
Why is this course being revised?
Similar to the SSCP voucher, we will no longer offer a voucher for the CISSP exam and instead direct students to register for the exam on their own.
How will this impact students?
Active students who wish to take the CISSP exam will receive a partial refund (cost of the exam voucher), which was factored into their initial enrollment. Pending students will be enrolled in the revised course.
The following course will be updated on September 4, 2020:
- Full Stack Software Developer (GES375)
Why is this course being updated?
The speed at which web technology moves requires constant updates to educational training material. As such, we are updating this course to train students to best use the latest web development languages, tools and techniques.
How will this course change?
Since the course content is being updated, the outline will change and the total course hours will increase from 600 to 650.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish their course with no changes to their course access.
The following course will be retired and removed from the catalog on September 4, 2020:
- Professional Certificate in Tech Fundamentals (GES376)
Why is this course being retired?
This course will be retired because it no longer fits our catalog roadmap.
Will this course be replaced?
No, we do not plan to replace the course at this time.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish the course with no changes to their course access.
FUNDAMENTALS
The following courses will be retired and removed from the catalog on September 15, 2020:
- Performing Payroll in QuickBooks 2013 (qp3)
- Performing Payroll in QuickBooks 2014 (qp4)
Why are these courses being retired?
These courses align with outdated versions of the QuickBooks software.
Will these course be replaced?
No. However, we currently offer numerous courses that prepare students to use the latest versions of QuickBooks.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish the course with no change their course access.
