ADVANCED CAREER TRAINING
The following courses will be retired and removed from the catalog effective immediately:
- Human Resources Professional with Workplace Mediation (GES2064)
- Senior Professional in Human Resources with Workplace Mediation (GES2065)
Why are these courses being revised?
We recently retired our Workplace Mediation (GEs426) course, so we are also retiring the bundles that include this course.
Will these course be replaced?
No, we do not plan to replace these courses at this time. However, both Human Resources Professional (GES419) and Senior Professional In Human Resources (GES434) are offered independently of these bundles.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish their course with no changes to their course access.
The following courses will be retired and removed from the catalog effective immediately:
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Server 2012 (GES834)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Server 2012 (Voucher Included) (GES853)
Why are these courses being retired?
Microsoft is retiring the MCSA certification on January 1, 2021. As a result, we are retiring courses that prepare for the certification exam.
Will these courses be replaced?
No, we do not plan to replace these courses at this time.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish their course with no changes to their course access.
The following courses will be retired and replaced on June 19, 2020:
- EXIN Cloud Computing (GES369)
- UNIX Administration Basics (GES370)
- Salesforce: Power User (GES365)
Why are these courses being revised?
As web technology evolves, so do the skill and competencies needed to work in the tech industry. We are revising these titles to better align with the latest industry standards.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish their course with no changes. Pending students will be given the opportunity to enroll in the new versions when they launch.
The following courses will be retired on July 20, 2020:
- PMI Risk Management Professional (Voucher Included) (GES28)
Why is this course being retired?
We can no longer offer the voucher for the PMI Risk Management certification exam. However, we will continue to carry the non-voucher version of this course (GES278) to help students prepare for the exam.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish their course with no changes. Pending students will be given the opportunity to enroll in the non-voucher course.
The following courses will be retired on September 28, 2020:
- Entrepreneurship: Start-Up and Small Business Owner Management (GES401)
Why is this course being retired?
This course will be replaced with a new title that better prepares students for the Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ESB) Certification.
When will this course be replaced?
Yes, the replacement course (GES439) will launch on May 5, 2020.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish their course with no changes to their course access. Pending students will be given the opportunity to enroll in the new course after it launches.
FUNDAMENTALS
The following course will be revised on August 12, 2020:
- Veterinary Assistant Series (B8563)
How is this course being revised?
We are adding the recently released Veterinary Medical Terminology (vmt) course to the Veterinary Assistant Series bundle. Due to this update, we will also change the course code from B8563 to B14125.
How will this change the course bundle?
With the added course, the total hours will increase from 72 to 96. Additionally, the SRP increase from $299 to $395.
How will this impact students?
Active students will be able to finish the course as it is structured prior to the August 12, 2020 change.
