Our catalog is constantly changing and that’s a good thing! Please read below for more information about upcoming updates.

ADVANCED CAREER TRAINING

The following courses were retired and will be removed from the catalog effective immediately:

Why were these courses retired?

These courses were retired due to outdated content. CompTIA updated Linux + certification requirements and officially discontinued the previous certification exam (LX0-103/104) on October 1, 2019.

Will these courses be replaced?

Yes. We plan to release a new title that aligns with the latest version of CompTIA Linux+ (XK0-004) next month.

How does this impact students?

Active students will be able to finish the course with no change to the curriculum. Pending students will be enrolled in the new course when it launches.

Why was this course retired?

This course was retired due to outdated content.

Will this course be replaced?

Yes. We launched a newer title, Front-End Web Developer, which better aligns with current web development standards. Students will learn how to create responsive web applications with today’s most widely-used programming languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

How does this impact students?

Active students will be able to finish the course with no change to the curriculum.

FUNDAMENTALS

The following course will be retired on February 11, 2020:

Why is this course being retired?

This course will be retired due to outdated content. Since this course was first added to the catalog, Adobe has released newer versions of the Lightroom software.

Will this course be replaced?

No. We do offer a newer title, Introduction to Lightroom Classic CC (lrc), which better aligns with the latest iteration of Adobe Lightroom.

How will this impact students?

Active students will be able to finish the course with no change to the curriculum.
