Why are you adding more Self-Paced Tutorial courses?
In August 2018, we rolled out a self-paced learning modality for certain courses in our Fundamentals catalog. Since the initial launch, we found that approximately 50 percent of students across our Partner network opted to enroll in the Self-Paced Tutorial version of a course if available. We want to continue to provide students with flexible learning options, so we are expanding this modality to more courses in our catalog.
Do the new Self-Paced Tutorial courses consist of new course content?
No. These titles all correspond to existing Fundamentals courses. The key difference will be how students choose to take a course – with instructor support or independently – if both learning modalities are offered.
What benefit do the new Self-Paced Tutorial courses provide to my catalog?
We have found that flexibility is a major deciding factor in enrollment. Allowing students to choose how they learn broadens your catalog to a wider audience, based on their learning preference.
How do students find the new courses?
Similar to the initial roll-out, new SPT courses will be listed in your catalog with the term “Self-Paced Tutorial” in the course title.
How do I find the new SPT courses?
Listed below are the anticipated SPT courses. These will be released weekly in clusters of ~20 until all titles are in the catalog. We will send a product launch announcement specifying which courses have been added to the catalog. Please keep in mind that the list is subject to change.

If you’ve elected to auto-add new titles to your catalog, then no further action is required. Otherwise, you will need the new Self-Paced Tutorial courses manually in the online administration center. If you’re not sure if you have the auto-add feature set up, contact your Account Manager.
