Our catalog is constantly changing, but that’s a good thing! Please read below for more information on recent and upcoming catalog updates.
ADVANCED CAREER TRAINING
The following course titles will be changed effective immediately:
- NCSF Sports Nutrition Specialist (GES159) to NCSF Sports Nutrition Specialist (Voucher Included) (GES159)
- NCSF Certified Strength Coach (GES160) to NCSF Certified Strength Coach (Voucher Included) (GES160)
We added the phrase “Voucher Included” to GES159 and GES160 to accurately reflect the value of these courses. Not only do both courses prepare for National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) certification exams, students will receive a prepaid exam voucher upon course completion.
The following course hours will be changed effective immediately:
- Grant Writing + Non-Profit Management (GES428) – 600 hours to 510 hours
The individual courses that make up this bundle have overlapping content, so the hours were listed incorrectly. The adjusted hours will now accurately reflect the content of the streamlined bundle.
The following course will be retired and replaced with a new title on July 31, 2019:
- Forensic Computer Examiner (GES305)
To better align with the changing IT industry, GES305 will be replaced with a forthcoming title created in partnership with EC-Council. As a global leader in information technology and cybersecurity training, EC-Council certification will benefit students looking to build a tech career.
The following courses will be retired and replaced with new titles on September 12, 2019:
- Paralegal (GES209)
- Paralegal (Voucher Included) (GES270)
In effort for continuous improvement, our Paralegal titles will be replaced with more robust offerings. The forthcoming courses will better prepare students for the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Certified Paralegal exam.
