In October 2023, we implemented a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform for the majority of ed2go Partners. We are now expanding this transition to a new ERP/billing system for Partners who were not transitioned in Phase 1. We are also making system enhancements to the ERP platform for those who have already transitioned to the new billing system. ed2go Partners moving the new platform effective April 1, 2025, include:
- Canadian Partners
- U.S. Partners who were not transitioned in Phase 1
- All other non-U.S. or Canadian-based Partners
What This Means for You
New Customer Numbers
As a Partner of Cengage Group, you may have different customer numbers with different Cengage businesses. When we upgrade our system, you will receive a new customer number for use across all Cengage Group businesses. A 360-degree view of your account unlocks capabilities for the future so that our team can understand your needs better, provide tailored solutions, offer proactive support, and streamline your overall experience for greater convenience and value.
What’s NOT changing: Although you will have a new customer number, our support team can use your existing customer number to locate your new account and assist you with any questions. Note: The transition to one customer number does not change how you are invoiced or the number of invoices you receive.
Update to Invoice Format
Your invoice format, updated for ed2go Partners in October 2023, will remain largely unchanged. We are introducing one enhancement specifically for our Canadian Partners. Canadian invoices will display a breakdown of applicable taxes, providing greater visibility into tax calculations. An example of the invoice for Canadian partners will be shared in our next ERP communication in March.
