An upcoming change to our Student Enrollment Agreement (SEA) will be introduced on Thursday, September 26. The new version will include a clause specifically addressing the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the ed2go platform.
Why are we making this change?
Our student-facing teams have brought to our attention an increase in potential plagiarism and instances of AI-submitted work, potentially impacting the value and quality of the student learning experience. In light of this, we have taken proactive measures to address this issue and reduce the likelihood of such occurrences.
Plagiarism or utilization of generative AI to complete assignments may result in consequences for the student, including being dropped from the course or receiving a deduction from the student’s score based on the grading rubric.
What value does this provide?
This change will help us maintain the integrity of the student educational journey and ensure a positive learning experience for all students. The new version of the SEA will be implemented into production on September 26.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to uphold vigorous standards across our platform to ensure the highest-quality student learning experience. If you have questions or need more information about these changes, please contact your account manager.
Thank you for making ed2go a part of your students’ educational journey.
