Updated Career Training Program: HVACR Certified Technician

ed2go has recently revamped a popular Career Training Program. This program is ideal for students who want to become HVACR field experts.

The program has undergone a complete overhaul and now provides students with an extremely focused training and exam vouchers for all of the significant industry exams. Each student will complete the program fully prepared to launch-start an exciting career in the industry!

Title: HVACR Certified Technician

(Formerly HVAC Technician )

This now all-inclusive program has a highly focused curriculum to train students on specific industry knowledge and a carefully designed workflow to provide the best learning experience and growth path for each student. The program is now all-encompassing and not only prepares students for full industry certification tracks, but also provides students with the following exam vouchers:

  • EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Exam (EPA)
  • R-410A Refrigerant Handling Qualification

(In this course specifically, card and certificate for refrigerant)

  • Stage 1 Certification Exams:

o    HVAC Excellence Work Ready Exams or

o    NATE Service Core

  • Stage 2 Certification Exams:

o    HVAC Excellence AC (specialty exam) or

o    NATE AC Service Level  (EPA specialty exam)


Due to the more intensive content design, the program hours have been reduced from 320 to 265 hours. The new tuition of $3795 (formerly $3095) includes the cost of the certification exam vouchers associated with the program. These exam vouchers are issued to the students throughout the program, and they will receive assistance arranging a testing date and location.
