New Microsoft Office 2016 Online Courses – with a Discounted Bundle Option!
We’re excited to be first-to-market in offering online courses for Microsoft’s latest software release! Now you can offer students these cutting-edge courses, as well as a discounted bundle option. Because of the nature of the bundle and with it being the first of similar future products, we’ve included some of the important aspects of bundle program administration below. Since this is the first launch of its kind, we’d love to hear your feedback in providing a grouped, discounted set of courses to students. Shopping Cart – Students can now purchase the Value Suite bundle via a Shopping Cart during the enrollment process at the Online Instruction Center. Enabling the shopping cart functionality allows us to support displaying multiple ed2go products in a single purchase during the checkout process.
- We have added the Shopping Cart feature to all partner sites where ed2go automatically adds newly-announced courses to the catalog.
Online Instruction Center Catalog – Students enroll in the one bundle but each individual course (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) will show up in their shopping cart for purchase at a discount. Session start dates will automatically default as follows: Word in the current session, Excel in the next session and PowerPoint in the next. Students are free to adjust the start dates during enrollment.

Online Administration Center – As noted above, we wanted to be quick to market with this new bundle, so there is some catalog management abilities you will not have access to until November 17th.

Partner collects payment – When a student enrolls online and chooses to pay you directly you will need to verify the enrollment at your Online Administration Center. Until November 17th the bundle title will not display on your Rosters, but the three individual enrollments in each course will. You want to verify each individual enrollment. We are currently working on enhancing the system so that you only need to verify once, but until then, you will need to verify all three individual courses. Students enrolled using the Manage and Enroll Students tool in the Online Administration Center will be automatically verified when you enter the enrollment.
How will I be invoiced?
Partner collects payment – When a student purchases a bundle and then pays you directly, all three courses will need to be verified. We will place that bundle purchase as a single line item on your ed2go statement. The enrollment will appear on your statement in session you verified first.
